Notre Dame Cathedral, Paris

Another must see when you are in Paris. It’s a beautiful Roman Catholic Gothic cathedral situated on a small island in the 4th arrondissement of Paris and very easy to get to with several metros in close proximity. It is free to enter but a donation is greatly appreciated and a small price to pay to experience such a great piece of architecture. It is truly beautiful inside especially the rose glass stained windows. It was pretty crowded when we went but didn’t have to queue long and the visitors flowed well.

We were lucky enough to be there as a service was taking place and, even though I’m not catholic nor understood what was being said, I felt moved and it added to the experience.

The views standing in front of the Cathedral and from the side (on the padlock bridge) are amazing as well.
