Amazing views, wineries, bakeries, cafes, cheese makers, fudge shops. Not to mention the waterfalls, creeks and lakes.

The Sunshine Coast Hinterland is only an hour and a half from Brisbane by car. A great place to visit if you want a day away from the beach/the city. If you are visiting Brisbane then this is one of the places I recommend.

The towns of Montville and Maleny, and the surrounding National Park are my favourite in the area. I made the drive up there with a friend last week.

We did a little bit of everything, but it’s the kind of place where you can just relax by a waterfall or at a restaurant with a hillside view. For those who love bushwalking, this is the place.

There is the Great Walk. If you do it in full, bring a tent because it takes a few days (58Kms in full)…
